Submit to Spotlight
Grief carved a voice in us, and sometimes writing is the only way it can breathe.
The Reflections Spotlight is a space for our community to share fragments, poems, and words that carry weight. Not everything will be published—but what is chosen will stand here alongside Wearing Grief’s own voice, so no one has to face the silence alone.
What to send
50–800 words: poem, fragment, or short reflection.
Raw, true, unpolished. No tidy lessons required.
Optional: one black-and-white image you own (texture, nature, shadow).
Include a name you’d like displayed, or mark it anonymous.
Optional: add trigger notes if your piece includes details others should know (hospital, accident, overdose, etc.).
What you need to know
Not every piece will be featured. Wearing Grief curates carefully—we share words that fit the tone of this space: raw, stark, honest.
Your submission may be gently edited for clarity or length, but your voice will remain intact.
By submitting, you confirm the work is your own and that you give Wearing Grief permission to publish it on our site and social channels (with attribution or anonymous, as you choose).
Your email and name will never be shared unless given permission.
